Daniels Slip Testing provides professional slip resistance testing, floor slip testing and practical risk-management advice for commercial properties, workplaces, healthcare facilities, construction projects and public environments.
Testing is conducted using recognised Australian Standard test methods, including AS 4586 and AS 4663, as applicable to the surface and circumstances.

Testing Is Only Part of the Answer
A slip resistance test provides an objective measurement of how a pedestrian surface performs under defined test conditions.
But the number alone does not always tell the whole story.
The measured floor slip resistance needs to be considered in the context of where the surface is located, how it is used, the likelihood of water or contamination being present, whether the surface is level or sloping, the condition of the flooring and other factors that may influence slip risk.
Daniels reports provide clear information about the surface tested, test conditions, measured Slip Resistance Value (SRV) and relevant P classification.
Where appropriate, we also identify factors that may contribute to risk and provide practical recommendations for further investigation, monitoring or risk control.
