Slip testing for building and construction
Construction projects frequently require timely slip resistance testing of new flooring prior to completion, handover or resolution of flooring concerns. Daniels provides slip testing for builders, developers, construction managers, flooring contractors and other project stakeholders.
Context
When testing is usually needed

Testing can be undertaken on newly installed internal and external pedestrian surfaces using recognised Australian Standard test methods, including AS 4586 slip resistance testing, where applicable.
We understand that delays in testing can affect handover and project completion. For urgent construction work, Daniels can offer 24–48 hour slip testing response times, subject to location and availability, with priority reporting where required.
Where unexpected results are identified, our materials and risk management experience can also assist clients in understanding potential causes and determining appropriate next steps.
