Does the area need to be closed while you test?

We only need short exclusive access to each test location, because the wet pendulum test wets the surface. On most health and aged care sites we work around normal operations, and we can test after hours where that suits you better.

What does the report contain?

Results by test location, the test method and equipment used, the conditions on the day, and what the results mean for the site. Where you need it we also advise on surfaces, materials, testing frequency and remedial processes.

Areas assessed may include entrances, corridors, bathrooms, ensuites, kitchens, treatment areas, external walkways, ramps and other pedestrian surfaces.

Testing can assist facility and WHS managers in identifying areas of concern, monitoring floor slip resistance and evaluating flooring following installation, cleaning changes or surface treatments.
