Shopping centres and retail properties contain high-traffic pedestrian environments where floor conditions can change throughout the day. Entrances, food courts, supermarkets, amenities, escalator approaches, tiled malls, external areas and transitions between surfaces can present different slip and trip risks.

When testing is usually needed
Daniels provides shopping centre slip testing, periodic monitoring and slip, trip and fall risk assessments to assist centre and facility managers in managing pedestrian safety.
Testing programs can include high risk or high traffic areas and can be repeated periodically to monitor changes in floor slip resistance.
