Practical Slip, Trip and Fall Risk Assessments
Daniels provides independent slip, trip and fall risk assessments to assist property owners, property managers, facility managers and other organisations in identifying pedestrian hazards and implementing practical risk controls. A slip resistance test provides valuable objective information about the measured performance of a floor surface. However, the test result alone does not always provide a complete assessment of the risk of a person slipping, tripping or falling. Daniels combines slip resistance testing with engineering, materials, commercial property and risk management experience to consider the broader environment in which people walk and the factors that may contribute to an accident.

Daniels provides independent expert witness reports, technical investigations and slip and fall assessments for legal matters involving pedestrian surfaces, flooring and the circumstances surrounding slip, trip and fall accidents. Bruce has extensive experience assisting with matters involving property owners and managers, insurers, legal advisers and plaintiffs.

Daniels provides practical slip, trip and fall training for property owners and managers, facility managers, cleaning companies and other organisations responsible for maintaining safe pedestrian environments. Our training draws on more than two decades of slip resistance testing, together with extensive experience in slip and fall investigations, risk assessments, commercial property, cleaning systems and expert witness matters. This provides participants with more than theoretical information about slips and falls. Training uses practical examples and lessons drawn from the types of hazards, management systems and documentation Daniels encounters when testing properties, conducting slip and trip risk assessments and investigating actual accidents.
